Moonlight Orthopaedic Mattress

The Moonlight is a 27cm deep orthopaedic mattress, which has a hand tufted surface and has 1400 gram polyester as its primary filling. It offers great comfort thanks to its 12.5g orthopaedic spring system coupled with its internal duo pad layers. Encased in a good quality Damask outer fabric provides a great finish to this mattress, along with its vertical line stitch border. Damask fabrics use a special textile weaving technique that create a reversible pattern. The result is the Moonlight has a beautiful, durable and versatile outer fabric.The Moonlight mattress can be used on both sides.

Comprising of an inner Bonnel spring unit made from ultra-durable, thick steel materials that can spring back easily and maintain their elasticity even after years of regular use. Coupled with a wire frame around the edge of the mattress, this mattress maintains it’s firmness even around the edges.

Hand Tufting a mattress, is an age old technique in which the mattress layers are held together. A long needle is used to ‘tuft’ straps all the way through the bed. This then pulls together the upholstery layers in the sprung unit, keeping the mattress nice and firm. This greatly aids the inside mattress materials from moving around over time, and in return increases the lifespan of the mattress.
